I had a decent stay at City Point Hotel, but there were some issues that dampened the experience. The location was fantastic, right in the heart of Manama with shops and eateries nearby, and the staff was friendly and helpful. However, the room felt dated and lacked some basic amenities, which was a letdown for me.

Rooms
5.0
The room was quite small and had a bit of a smell when the A/C was switched off. The bed was rock hard, and I was surprised that there were no toiletries provided other than the bare minimum. It worked for just one night, but it definitely needed some updates.
Service
7.5
The service was one of the brighter spots of my stay. The staff was always nice and went out of their way to be accommodating, which I really appreciated. They were dedicated to making sure my needs were met throughout my visit.
Location
8.0
Being in the city center was a major plus. It was super easy to access nearby shops and places to eat, which made my stay a lot more enjoyable. I loved being able to step outside and find everything I needed within walking distance.
Dining
7.0
I didn't eat at the hotel, but I noticed there were good food options available for guests. It sounded like they had a decent variety, even for vegetarians.
Facilities
5.0
I was disappointed to find that the pool and fitness area were closed for renovations. That was a real bummer since I was hoping to enjoy those facilities during my stay.

My stay at the City Point Hotel was a mix of highs and lows. The location was fantastic, right in the city center, making it easy to explore nearby shops and restaurants. However, I encountered several issues with noise, cleanliness, and service that made the experience less than enjoyable.

Rooms
5.5
The room was somewhat clean, but it had several problems. There was a persistent noise issue from surrounding bars, and the carpet appeared dusty with some stains. I also noticed old appliances and a lack of available plug points, making it hard to charge my devices.
Service
5.0
Service was hit or miss. While I found some staff friendly, others seemed confused, and I even had an issue where I was charged 2 BD for a second cup of coffee. Overall, I felt the staff could have been more attentive and helpful.
Location
8.5
The hotel's location was one of its strong points. Situated in the heart of Manama, it was close to many shops and dining options. This convenience made it easy for me to explore the area.
Dining
6.0
Dining was a mixed experience. Although breakfast was somewhat limited, it was still tasty enough for me. However, I came across some complaints regarding the quality of food, particularly with vegetarian options that could be better.
Facilities
5.0
Facilities in the hotel left something to be desired. The hallways felt narrow and not well-maintained, and I encountered delays when retrieving my car from the valet service. However, the lobby area was spacious enough for me to wait comfortably.

My stay at the City Point Hotel was a mixed bag. While the location was fantastic and the staff were genuinely welcoming, the noise from the surrounding bars kept me awake during the night. The room itself felt a bit outdated, with a hard bed and some stains on the carpet. Overall, it was decent for the price, but improvements could definitely be made. 🌃😴

Although I didn’t dine extensively at the hotel, I enjoyed the breakfast options. They were limited but tasty, catering even to vegetarians like me.

Facilities were basic, and the lack of a room phone was a hassle at times. Although I appreciated the free transfers, the aging décor was somewhat disappointing.

I had high hopes for City Point Hotel given its location in the heart of Manama, but I was quite disappointed. Despite having a spacious room, the overall experience was marred by poor service and numerous issues during my stay. From parking troubles to lackluster dining options, it fell short of my expectations.

Service was inconsistent and left much to be desired. I found the reception staff not very polite, and my requests for basic services were often met with reluctance.

The hotel is centrally located with shops and eateries around, which is a plus. However, accessing parking is a hassle, requiring you to hand over your car to park in narrow streets behind the hotel.
Dining

Breakfast was a letdown with very limited options, and I was surprised to be asked for an extra charge for a second cup of coffee. It didn't live up to the dining experience I expected.

The hotel's facilities were not well maintained, and the common areas were not clean. This detracted significantly from my overall impression.
